GOTLAND FARMER COTTAGE HELLVI The cottages were built during 2003-2006. My thought is that there will be cottages that fit into the landscape. The solar cells on the roof are compatible with the environment and they produce heat large parts of the year. The cottages also have underfloor heating throughout the ground floor. The cottage exterior are coated with tar, which I cook myself. The farm consists of woods and fields nearby. I also own asparagus cultivation and ponds with crayfish that we breed. Much of my time I spend working with my mobile sawmill. I go around to other landowners on Gotland and help them with sawing of the wood to be processed. Right now we are building a common house for the cottages with a sauna and a washing machine as holiday guests can use, I hope that the house will be completed in 2010. I who built and own this farmers cottages is called Bo Kellström and living next door to the four cottages at Nystuga in Hellvi. The cottages are named: Bysen, Trollstenen, Vedbacken and Syrenen.
